About the Firm
Ang Law is a boutique, full-service law firm located in Toronto and servicing clients within the greater Toronto area. Our principal lawyer, Derek Ang, was called to the Bar in 2019 and has been practicing in the areas of civil litigation, family law, real estate law, and wills and estates for several years. Derek Ang brings his strong reputation for professionalism, efficiency, and excellence to Ang Law.
Meet Derek Ang
Derek Ang received his J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 2018. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2019.
Derek has a wealth of litigation and investigative experiences which he brings to Ang Law. At law school, Derek participated in the Disability Law Intensive where he worked at the ARCH Disability Law Centre (ARCH) in Toronto. At ARCH, Derek developed his skills in interviewing, negotiating, and advocating for his clients. Derek then worked as an articling student and associate lawyer at two mid-sized law firms. In these roles, Derek worked extensively to develop his practice in the areas of civil litigation, family law, real estate law, and wills and estates.
Derek thrives in helping others, paying it forward, and going above and beyond for his clients. When Derek is not working, he enjoys playing piano, watching eSports and exploring new restaurants within the GTA.
